Slide Milling for Pistol Slide to Accept a Holosun 407K/507K or Shield RMSc Optic
This is a MACHINING SERVICE ONLY to cut your existing slide to accept most optics with the RMSc footprint. This service will work with hammer and striker-fired slides, typically in a sub-compact or slim platform, i.e. SIG Sauer P365 Series, Glock 43X/48, 1911, 2011 and others. The rear of your slide will be CNC milled to accept an RMSc-style footprint optic. Refinishing is also available for an additional charge, but requires that the slide be completely stripped, including removing sights.
The perfect service to bring your non-optic ready pistol into the modern-age! Great for competitive shooters as well. RACE CUT WILL REMOVE REAR DOVETAIL. NO ADDITIONAL DOVETAIL WILL BE MACHINED. We do not offer dovetail machining.
We precision machining the slide to fit the RMR footprint and threadmill the M4x0.7 threads for maximum thread engagement. Recoil posts are machined into the slide for reliability. Each slide is test-fit with Holosun and Shield optic of the same footprint.
Includes: CNC machining of your slide for the RMSc/Holosun K footprint. Fit check. Lead time can be up to 6 weeks, but is often less. Coating will add additional lead time.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the differences between off-brand optics, we cannot guarantee fit unless the optic is provided during machining. Optic cuts may require shorter or longer screws. SCREWS ARE NOT INCLUDED.
We will reply to your order confirmation with shipping instructions for sending in your slide (and optic, if desired). It is not necessary to ship the complete firearm. We are a licensed firearms manufacturer with valid FFL and storefront location in Oak Ridge, TN.
THIS SERVICE WILL NOT WORK WITH: Slides with existing optic cuts.
Shipping charges cover return shipping only, signature is required upon return. When shipping please strip slide completely, if possible (front and rear sights can remain). Disassembly charges will apply. DO NOT include cases, manuals, etc. unless specifically necessary for other services.
OPTIC, PLATE OR SCREWS ARE NOT INCLUDED (unless specifically selected).
