This is one of our off-the-shelf 1911DW commander-size pistols (2011-style) (THE 1911DW, DOUBLE-WIDE).
This smooth, fast-shooting pistol starts with an AB Prototype commander length 2011-style 4140 steel frame (Clark/Para Ramp) and Cheely Custom Gunworks E2 7075 aluminum grip (full-size, non-functional grip safety), designed with performance and competition in mind. The frame rails are CNC machined and hand-fitted to a quality Atlas slide for ultimate fit and finish. The Kart Precision (or KKM, depending on availability and configuration) 9mm bull barrel is hand-fitted to each pistol for repeatable lockup and accuracy. The barrel is then flush cut and crowned for a finished appearance. An Atlas Ambi Thumb Safety is fitted for positive engagement and a Dawson Precision fiber front sight finishes the front.
Internal components consist of quality machined parts from various US manufacturers including Dawson Precision, Cheely Custom Gunworks, Staccato (STI), Atlas, Kart, KKM, Extreme Engineering, EGW, Red Dirt and more. (No MIM parts!).
Semi-auto, 4.25" barrel, quality 4140 steel slide with elegant, yet functional AB Prototype slide serrations and optic plate system (Atlas RDS). Slide, Frame and Barrel are coated in a slick, black DLC for durability and smooth operation. Trigger is tuned to approx. 2-2.5LB.
Comes with 2 Factory Atlas 9mm magazines (17rd in 9mm) and matching Cheely IDPA-compatible magwell. Premium magazines are available for an additional fee.
APPROXIMATE WEIGHTS:

Brand new with AB Prototype 1 year warranty. This is not legal for sale in CA and not on the handgun roster. It is not available for sale in California unless you are law enforcement.
Includes: 1 AB Prototype 1911DW Commander-Size 9mm Pistol, 2 Atlas magazines, build sheet, lock and soft pistol bag. Factory test-fired for function and operation. Grease, brass, oil will be present. Pistol is NEW. OPTICS ARE NOT INCLUDED UNLESS OPTIC IS ORDERED WITH PISTOL. MAY REQUIRE ADDITIONAL TUNING FOR NON-STANDARD AMMUNITION LOADS.
